The All Along Project is a feminist architectural intervention in the urban environment, using existing public green infrastructure to provide small parklets for the surrounding communities to honor women. With minimal modifications, these locations can recount our untold histories. The installation provides an opportunity to remember the work of women whose impact has historically been erased from the public record. Women who have been the community organizers, leaders, and activists all along. The installations will both serve as a way to catalog community women and map the communities of their impact. Each microhistory tips the scales of the macrohistory.
