Leonard Street
Leonard Street is an ongoing residential project. Its first phase was to transform the three-family house to create and maximize space for the multiple generations who call it home. The changes add significant square footage to the lower unit, occupied by a family of five, more than doubling it in size. Relocating communal spaces to share adjacencies with the rear yard in turn provides an alternative entrance and exit, efficiently removing the circulation of the unit from the rest of the house.
